The Mares

Ride Dee Rainbow, aka O.T. is the first horse I called my own, she was just under saddle when I got her in 2004 since then she's  gone to a halter show and placed reserve champion, been used as a lesson horse and is helping my sister learn how to ride, I consider that our biggest accomplishment.
Flossie came to me as a worn down 1 1/2 year old, I should really say I came to Flossie, she was born and raised in a herd of wild horses even though they were Belgians they lived and bred like wild horses, they had land and lakes to live off of, so all rules applied, she was chased out of the herd by the stallion and had some injuries that became infected and maggots started living in the wound.
With lots of help from the community we caught her and she was brought to my place where I nursed her back to health and gained her trust, today I'm training her to ride.
Bethany was a horse I was training, she came with her colt from the same herd as Flossie did, I had ready to ride, but she wasn't right for her owners, she's large and they were intimidated, she didn't get worked with and my training went down the drain. They were happy with her colt, so they decided to just keep him and give her to me rather than sending her to an auction. My dad rides her and she's a pretty good horse, when she wants to be.
Maddie is my newest horse, she wouldn't make a good first horse but she was one, her owner was great with her, she was willing to learn how to train and she made progress with practice and patience. For family reasons she had to move, forcing her to sell her horses, I wanted to buy her but I couldn't afford it. After going to two other homes her original owner got her back, the first home she had gone to neglected her, the other abused her and left her in the field skin and bones. She was scared to try and sell hr again so she gave her to me knowing she'd have a good home here.
